This week, student councils around the world will carry out the initiative “Youth for Peace” to set a sign for world peace. The student council team of the German International School Doha will also participate in this peace project.
Secondary I students will come to school wearing a white top (t-shirt, hoodie, shirt, etc.). A minute of silence is planned and afterwards photos and videos will be taken which will then be used for the project. Participation in the project is, of course, voluntary. We will be very happy if many of you participate!
War in the world is a sad reality. At the end of March, another sign of solidarity with the victims of wars and for world peace will be the long-planned unveiling of the Peace Pole at the school in the presence of the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in Doha.
